my site will be selling products locally, I would like to know if I can do the delivery charges less than $30; add this amount to cart. $50 and above free delivery.

Have to close the gap between $30 and $50 first
Try setting up the table rate shipping

The shipping cost is based on the total cost or weight of items or count of the items.

Where the first rate is what you will charge for those under $50 and then over $50 is $0.00 and check off the Table Method as "price"

I think that this will do what you want adjusted to your values

I got that but is it possible to make it that delivery will only start at $30 meaning below $30 they cant check out that kind of thing.

So are you now wanting to "Deny" checkout if the total is less than $30.00 ??

If so - I think that this will require a bit of custom coding and not the venue for the forum - but not positive about this
