help question Replace 'Model' with 'Version' or 'OS' ?

In my to-be-store I would like to offer software products. The "attributes" (are they really attributes or just tags?) "Products Model" and "Products Manufacturer" are not really appropriate here.

Is there a way to replace those with more suitable attributes/tags such as 'Version' and/or 'OS'?

If so, what is the proper way to accomplish that? Admin Console? Override System?

    Thanks,
    Daniel

Default Re: Replace 'Model' with 'Version' or 'OS' ?

It's a combination of the admin (find what to change) and the override system.

In admin->tools->developer's tool kit, search for the word or phrase you want to replace. I usually use the search box at the bottom of the page and search both the catalog and the admin. Using the information it returns, copy the file needed into your custom directory (if it's not already there) and edit it.

I usually do all my editing on my local computer using a good text editor and FTP the changes to the site.
