v2.2.1
GCheckout module was developed by members, and has been quite unstable.
I no longer provide installation support on forum for all my modules. However, if there are real bugs with the modules please feel free to contact me
It just was unlisted tonight when my Google button became dormant grey.
Now what?
Cheers!
v2.2.1
which module are you guys using? i installed the one developed by Google: http://code.google.com/p/google-checkout-zencart/
My checkout button is still working.
Seems strange that the three popular open source carts are missing from the list: zen, oscommerce and cre loaded....
Same difference.
Cheers!

I must admit I'm absolutely browning myself at the thought of trying to get GoogleCheckout working, especially after seeing this. Stupidly, I also assumed this module was OFFICAL Google stuff rather than developed unofficially.
In your pretty-much-expert opinions: I'm UK-based, working on my first ZC store with a view to getting it up an running ASAP - would you go forward with google or would you cut your losses and use another payment module? If so, which one?
Thanks for the advice in advance.
Googlecheckout is fine if you have time to first setup and configure
sandbox account, test, and then set up and configure livemode.
Paypal is an option, either ipn, express, their pay per month deal..
Or you can choose UK merchant option, first on page at
http://www.zen-cart.com/index.php?ma...es&pages_id=39
..has free zencart mod in downloads section, which have tested and
works brilliantly.
I personally think the trouble of setting up Google Checkout is worthwhile, especially if you also use Google Adwords for search advertising. For every $1 you spend on Adwords, Google processes $10 of orders for free the following month. For me that means a saving of $160 for the second month of operation, and will probably be close to $300 this month.
