    Default template problems

hello, I am having some problems with my zen cart templates.

Whenever I install a template, the columns disappear and it doesn't look much like it's supposed to. I'm assuming I'm not doing it right but I've followed tutorials as best as I can.

When reinstalling the old template, the columns reappear but there's a manual ad and the following lines on the index:

This content is located in the file at: /languages/english/html_includes/classic/define_main_page.php

You can quickly edit this content via Admin->Tools->Define Pages Editor, and select define_main_page from the pulldown.

NOTE: Always backup the files in /languages/english/html_includes/your_template
Also, the columns seem to have unnaturally shifted after attempting to install other templates. If anyone can help with all these issues, even better would be if I could give you the template and you go into my server? thanks in advance.

Open your Admin> Tools> Layout Boxes Controller and scroll down to the bottom of the page and hit the reset.

Oy Vey! This is a Template Monster template - your troubles are just beginnig, my friend.

You can adjust the column widths in your admin - configurations - layout settings.

Unfortunately, Template Monster templates are notorious for hardcoding certain features which makes the switches in the admin useless.
