Change number of new products displayed on main page

I would like to know if there is a way to have 12 or 15 new products displayed on the main page in the New Products box. I have tried changing the columns to 4 but that only produces smaller images but still only 9. I can't find where to change this information, and givin my limited knowledge of all this zen stuff I might never find it on my own.

Yep. Just go to Admin > Configuration > Maximum Values > New Products Module and change that to whatever you want.

Thank you, I made a bunch of changes, don't really see much difference yet, but I need to create some designs so I can have 4 new products to upload then I will know for sure if it worked.

admin > maximum values > Products Listing- Number Per Page
