Category restrictions

I've got a coupon set up that I want to disallow in three categories and allow for all others. I set category restrictions to deny those three but zen is denying it for all categorys. If I go and allow one category, the coupon will work for that one category.

If I choose to restrict a coupon, do I have to sepcifically list each category as allow or deny? I assumed it would allow everything unless told to deny.

I'm using 1.3.7

There are no linked products. Originally, I set Top to allow and deny to the three categories I wanted to deny. That's what resulted in everything being denyed. Are you saying to set the top to deny and list each allow category one by one?

Sorry, I misunderstood what you were trying to do ...

Just add the 3 categories to be set for DENY to the Discount Coupon ...

NOTE: I don't have a v1.3.7 handy at the moment, but keep in mind that v1.3.8 is a much better version and that you should consider upgrading ...

It works if I have one category set to deny. Once I add a second category to deny (and I've tried different combinations) it no longer allows the coupon to be used.
