Addin multiple items to the cart Simultaneously

I'm wondering if there is a way to implement code that would allow a user to select multiple different products on one page, and add them all to the cart with the single click of a button. Like in the example below:



Also, When the products are purchased, is there a way to select multiple items to download, with a similar method, and then compress them in a zip file to download all at once?

Any that display the "...more info" also have attributes associated with them and must have additional shopper input to make a valid purchase - otherwise this display normally has an "add" qty box displayed.

So answer is if there are attributes that must be selected then NO.

You will have to have custom code to be able to dynamically create varying sets of files to be programatically zipped and provided for download

I summarise my question here:

Is there a way of grouping products (without attributes) to be listed as a single item and then, once inside the detail page, be able to add to the cart different quantities of each product of the group? If this is possible, the solution could also apply to this thread.

We use a MOD called Quick Orders on some of our sites.

Its downside is that it doesn't work with product sets that have attributes or quantity discounting.

However, we've found it to be popular.

It can be set up to display product info such as Model Number, etc.
