Right sideboxes on main pages only

How can I set up Zen cart to display the right side boxes on the home page only? Excluded the right sideboxes for categories by adding index to tpl_main _page.php adding it to my includes/template/my_template/common.

Try this:

open includes/templates/YOUR_TEMPLATE/common/tpl_main_page.php

add the following statement:

if (!$this_is_home_page) {
$flag_disable_right = true;
}

It worked Except I can't get the product info page to show the cross cell sidebox on the right column. Is it possible to get the right column to show up for the product page by editing this mod?

You get it one way or the other.

Move your cross-sell box to the left column or add it to the bottom of the product page.
