    Default Authorize.net Payment Problem

    Hi,

    Today I received my first order through the authorize.net payment mod. Everything worked and I was able to capture the funds in my account, etc. However. It did not generate an order that was sent to zen-cart admin. Also, I have email archiver mod installed and checked, it did not send a confirmation with PO # to the customer either...?

    So... I processed a transaction myself with my credit card, during checkout it appears there was a "login timeout" and it asks me to login again, so I do then it tells me there was a security error when trying to log back in... ? I have no clue what is going on.

    Can someone help. I'm glad auth.net is capturing the funds, but it does no good if I don't know what I'm supposed to ship.

    Also,

    I wanted to give some extra info...

    I did another test order with check/money order, it worked fine.

    Also, since I have seen some similar posts, I checked my SSL info in my config, in both config files
    http = http://www.domain.com
    https = https://www.domain.com

    Not sure what in the world I am doing wrong??

    What version of Zen Cart? What version(s) has it been upgraded from? When?
    What addons do you have installed?
    Which Authorize.net module are you using?
    Have you tried enabling the debug-log-to-file option in your Authorize.net payment module settings? The log files will be put in your /cache/ folder. What do they contain ... they should explain what happened in the transactions.
    Did the customer see any error messages?

    Dr. Byte,

    ZC 1.3.8- this was the 1st and only version installed.

    I have some style addons, such as the css drop down menu, column grid layout. Some feed add-ons from numinex. I have 1 page checkout and checkout without an account. Though I do not have 1 page checkout currently running. I have the buySAFE add-on, image handler, but nothing really affecting checkout too greatly.

    I am using the SIM module. The log file from the most current transaction contained the below text - and the customer sees the "whoops" "login timeout" error.

    DEBUG file:

    Is there a particular reason why you're using the SIM module?
    The AIM module is more reliable and secure, and offers a much more seamless shopping experience to the customer.

    Dr. Byte,

    The Aim module was working correctly when I first started testing it. But I guess I didn't test this one enough either.... I will try the AIM module and see if it works any better now. I believe before I didn't understand what I need to do with cURL? I don't even know what that means..

    Dr. Byte,

    Good and bad news...

    I installed the AIM module and configured it. And it WORKED!! it assigned and order number, and auth.net was securely transferred the money. HOWEVER, I got this error...

    WARNING: Security hash problem. Please contact store-owner immediately. Your order has *not* been fully authorized.

    What does this mean?

    litepockets,

    I got the same "WARNING: Security hash problem. Please contact store-owner immediately. Your order has *not* been fully authorized."

    Why did you say "DISREGARD!! I'm an idiot. Dr. Byte you're my hero. The AIM mod is working flawlessly! "

    ?? Thanks!

    If you chose an MD5-Hash value longer than 20 characters, you'll get mismatches. Remember it's only supposed to be a word or two, up to 20 characters, and entered identically on both the authnet site and your admin panel.

    Here's an FAQ article on setting up the Authorize.net AIM module: https://www.zen-cart.com/tutorials/i...hp?article=373
