Default Side Boxes -v- Editable Side Boxes

I have downloaded both mods but not sure which to use.

All I want is 2 sideboxes basically showing the Paypal logo and my SSL Certificate logo. I have the html codes for both that I want to use.

I also need help as I dont quite know how to upload it. I tried installing/uploading the plain side box module last night but obviously did something wrong as my website "disappeared". Thankfully my web host is available 24/7 and he called me strait away (just before midnight lol) and basically re uploaded (?) the whole site for me.

Anyway I know both instructions basically say to "drag the includes folder to the root directory on your site that contains your Admin, Images and Includes". (I use filezilla) This is what I don't understand. Is this the one in the public -html one? Or is each site different?? Which was exactly is the root directly?

I don't want to try again until I get specific instructions as I don't want to "break" it again!

    Thanks
    Anna

I usually use the 'blank sidebox' mod.

Yes, you drag the includes folder from the mod to, in your case, public_html and the files inside will be created in the proper directories.

If you had installed Zencart in a subdirectory, say, toycrazy.com.au/store, for example, that subdirectory would be your Zencart 'root'.

    Thanks for that, all done!

Only problem now is when I enter the html code for the paypal logo it doesn't work.

Also I can't for the life of me find where to you change the header title.

If you used the blank sidebox mod, the header is defined in includes/languages/english/extra_definitions/blank_sidebox_defines.php

I don't use PayPal, so I can't help with that. Should be something in the forum about it, though.

    Hello,
I've installed the 'blank sidebox mod' but somehow it does not appear under my layout settings. It is becauseof my template? [Iam using red passion]

I don't think the template would affect it. If you installed it properly, it should be there, so I'd try moving the files to your site again.
