Restrict shipping based on manufacturer?

Hi,

Does anyone know how I can restrict sale of products to non US customers based on manufacturer?

Also, how/can I put all of a manufacturers products on sale?
As I understand it this is normally done by category or individual product!

this post has been here for 3 years and not one reply? am i missing something, i am noob when it comes to ZEN cart we are using USPS module only for shipping we are selling Mini 14/30, 10/22 / SR 22,Ar15 / M16, 1911 .45, Mossberg 500, M1 Garand / M1 Carbine parts and cannot be shipped international if i change the Products Manufacturer: to guns i would like it disable USPS when an international customer adds to cart so no option is avalible?? also stating that we cant ship gun parts?? i would appreciate someones help

Do you want to restrict international shipping for only certain prohibited items?

the link is an actual item that can be shipped anywhere in USA but not international, the category has items that can and cannot be shipped due the USA laws and i was hoping for some kind of attribute or Products Manufacturer list that i could add it to prevent that from happening, someone did quote "This does require some customization to make this happen but it can be done ..." where can i hire the A-Team? though i have made it this far by myself please check the link as i have left the delivery Restrictions for test porposes, thanks again JAMES

Hi I think the A - Team are working from Odesk at the moment.
I heard that they are also to be found on Elance or FreeLance.com depending on weather.

Joking aside, if you want a programmer to do the job for you the sites above are a great place to find someone at reasonable rates.

Also no this isn't me fishing for a job...

Thanks shane for your info, i guess that why it takes two or so days to get replies around here, though the A-team seems like the best option because i'm not a programmer and managed to install and fix most of my errors :) but there is nothing like self accomplishment ,i did however find something similar scripting

if i can somehow get it to work when Manufacturers Name: XX it added to cart USPS is disabled and no shipping option is avalible
