This is my first time using any online store. I've just downloaded ZenCart. I see there is literally miles of info and I would really like to just have a step-by-step guide to customizing my site from start to finish. Thank you.

I would suggest you play around with Zen Cart and become familiar with it. That way you'll have specific questions which can be answered in the tutorials/FAQ or on the forum.
