Default How do I backup my database?

Seriously, I'm sorry for posting such dumb ###### questions, but I have read so much stuff about ZC, and I still cannot figure it out.
It says Your version of Zen Cart appears to be current (not sure what number this is) but if someone doesn't mind talking me through it, I'd appreciate it.
Again sorry for such stupid questions.

Now this does not address a database backup???

What type of hosting account manager do you have provided?

If you are provided access to phpmyadmin see

This is where you can find the version info...

Backing up is not directly a part of Zen Cart BUT is a necessary function to insuring you do not loose a major portion of your data and a neccesity to operating a successful shop.

Check your host and what tools they provide for this

Yes, those tutorials may help you figure out how to use FTP and phpMyAdmin.

Once you've figured that out, use FTP to do backups of the files and folders used for your Zen Cart site.
And then use phpMyAdmin to do your database backup. The Zen Cart FAQ on doing database backups via phpMyAdmin can be found in the Zen Cart FAQ area by searching for the word "backup": https://www.zen-cart.com/tutorials/i...hp?article=103

No problem. No offense intended. Just wanted to point it out gently so you were aware of the impact.
