Is "Keep Cart" still valid?

I have Zen Cart v1.3.9h and was going to install the keep cart add-on. I noticed it had not been updated since: October 9, 2009 and is valid on version 1.3.8. I was wondering if Zen cart v.1.3.9h has added this functionality into the core cart? During testing it seems as if my cart stays longer than with previous version (but I am not sure).

I have been using Keep cart on my 139h website for a few months (and used it in earlier versions), but have noticed some Out-of-Stock items turning up in peoples carts so it may be in need of some adaption.
I don't mind having a play around with it on my local server, if someone (hopefully the Coder) would point me in the general direction. I am looking at going to 1.5 soon, so would like it to be able to work on that as well.
Any ideas, anyone?
