Password to Download a linked file?

I setup an Ez Page for my customers Price List files. Anyone can download them without having to buy them, or add them to the cart.

I added a link to my drop down menu and it takes me to the ez page, no problem there. When I click on the link to download the zip file it asks for a username and password. It doesn't do this if I just enter the url to the file in the address bar of the browser.

Any thoughts as why Zencart is causing it to ask for Username and Password?

You've uploaded these into the Zen Cart download folder, this folder is protected by a .htaccess file (Password Protected Directory) which is why you are being asked for username/password.....you'd be better off uploading these to a different folder and link the download from there :)

Weird, I changed that to a directory in the root, but I must of not hit update or something when I changed it on the EZ Page. DUH
