HTML emails

Hi,

When creating accounts, users have the option of getting email in either HTML or plain text.

Is there a simple switch to make it just HTML only? I've searched and searched but can't find anything.

Is it possible to not give them the option of choosing to recieving e-mail and just making them unsubscribe if they don't want it? (or is this bad manners?).

Not interested in making a new template, so if no switch is available then i'll just live with it.

There's no switch to do that, but you could remove the radio button options and set Admin - Configuration - Customer Details - Customer Default Email Preference to 1.

I believe forcing HTML email is illegal in some places, so if you sell outside of Australia, you might want to check.

Personally, I much prefer to receive plain text.
