configuring Mercury mailserver

Hi
I am trying to install Zen Cart and I have the following problem.
In the estore Zen cart manual they say that you can also use other servers like Wampserver.
In the same manual they say you must configure a Mercury mailserver, but when I look for it in Wampserver I don't see anything like it.
Maybe it doesn't work with Wamp?
Can anyone help me with this?

Configuring Mercury
Now we have to make sure that all emails for the domain example.com will be handled by our mail server.
To configure your Mercury mail server to use the new domain:
1. Stop the Mercury mail server service via your XAMPP Control Panel.
2. Edit the file <xampp-home>/MercuryMai l /MERCURY. INI with a text editor.
3. Delete and add the following lines in the file.
myname localhost # Canonical name for this server
myname example.com # Canonical name for this server
4. Add the following line just below the words “localhost.com : localhost.com” in the file.
example.com : example.com

Re: configuring Mercury mailserver

May I know which manual(s) you are referring to?

I don't remember writing anything about WAMP server in the manual although WAMP can be used for running a local Zen Cart store for testing as well.

By default, XAMPP comes with MercuryMail and that is why that mail server is mentioned in the manual.

If you are using WAMP, you can choose another mail server.
