    Default Voiding Order Authorizations

    How do I find the Auhorization ID, or where can this be found if I am using paypal express checkout.

    Should be in an email from paypal if this is not posting back to your Zen Cart properly

    where would I find this in the PayPal email, the only thing i can see in the emails and in zencart is the transaction id, also the only extra thing in the email is a reciept number, but it is to long for a auth id, these are usually 6 characters right

    I am looking for the authorization ID a 6 digit string of characters, it can be more than just numbers usually it is a combination of letters and numbers mind you it is usually 6 digits, is what I plan to do with it is void out a purchase made by a customer.

    admin > customers > orders > select the order > delete

    NOTE: kobra's suggestion will cause you to "delete" the order from your Admin. It will not refund a payment to your customer.

    You started out mentioning PayPal Express Checkout.

    PayPal Express Checkout doesn't issue a normal 6-digit Authorization ID.
    They will give you a PayPal Transaction ID, which would tie into a PayPal payment you've received ... and to reverse that inside PayPal, you would just click on the Refund link inside your PayPal payment details.

    Or are you collecting payment via some other gateway besides PayPal?
