Default Authorize.net cache still has AIM_Debug logs...

    I have turned off the debug options for Authorize.net (zen-cart version 1.37, (update @version $Id: authorizenet_aim.php 7081 2007-09-21 23:39:48Z drbyte $)

But I still get the AIM_Debug_nnnn log files...
Why? How do I turn these off... Is it important to turn them off?

All else work just fine, except for a little unsolved bug when a customer gets an address mismatch in AIM, then corrects it, it forgets to charge on the credit card, and we get orders posted to Gift Certificate with no charge and have to go back to the customer asking for payment... Still looking for that small bug.. Not willing to go to 1.3.8 to see if it is solved.

Here are the settings for the site.. - any suggestions are appreciated...

    Authorize.net (AIM)

    Enable Authorize.net (AIM) Module
    True

    Login ID
    nnnnnn

    Transaction Key
    ****************

    MD5 Hash

    Transaction Mode
    Production

    Authorization Type
    Authorize

    Enable Database Storage
    False

    Customer Notifications
    False

    Merchant Notifications
    False

    Request CVV Number
    True

    Sort order of display.
    0

    Payment Zone
    --none--

    Set Order Status
    default

    Debug Mode
    Off

    Thanks...

Are you getting logs for *all* transactions? Or just transactions that encountered some sort of error?

Sometimes writing down all the settings, clicking "remove", and then "install", and then reconfiguring all your settings again, will help stop unexpected logging like that.

It looks like I am only getting these on completed transactions...
I have not noticed any errors in some time... (good customers :-)

I had turned off the logging in March or so...

When we get a low period I can try to de-re-install - but it would be nice to know that someone else has run into this and this solved the problem...
Not a big deal to have the logs, just checking for errors and I noticed this..

    Thanks

Did removing and re-installing the AIM module resolve this?

I have discovered one of my sites behaving the same way.

Hey kiddo of laserdiscvault.com - I never got around to de-re-installing the authorize.net module... I would just delete the log records every so often... I didn't want to risk a problem on a running site unless I knew it would fix the problem.

If you try it - let everyone (and me) know if it fixes the problem indeed..

Thanks - and nicely done website - http://www.laserdiscvault.com/

NOTE: v1.3.9 and newer contain a log-cleanup option in Admin->Tools->Store Manager

Or, for older versions, you can delete the log files en masse using the utility mentioned here: http://www.zen-cart.com/forum/showthread.php?t=107669

Naturally, turning off debug logging will stop the creation of additional log files.
