Default How Do I Create a Simple 1 Page checkout?

    Hi guys,

I've done the installation and the basic setup from the "First Steps to Setting Up Your Online Shop" and created a single category with a single product.

I was wondering if it is possible to create a simple 1 page checkout for my single product, without using custom or the provided template. Basically, I'm trying to create a site that mimicks the bottom checkout/billing/shipping form of the following site by using zen cart specific php / html tags.

    Thanks for all your help!

I'm gonna go wash my mouth out with soap after I say this but.....

Why use Zen Cart? You could set the site up in no time and just have it send the credit info for off-line processing.

Sorta like buying a Mercedes to drive back and forth between the street and the garage.

Wanted to use zen cart for some of its better backend feature such as gift cards / electronic discounts, newsletters etc., If you know another shopping cart that does that stuff and is easier to use please let me know =)

No, I don't know of a better cart than Zen Cart.

I made my recommendation base on the information you gave in your post. Based on the information you gave, you didn't need a cart.

You will find lots of help and opinions here on the forum. And, if you give us as much information as possible, we can give a more informed answer.

There are Add Ons that cover quick checkout. Search at the "Free Software Add Ons" link at the top of the page.

Hey, I just did a simple site with only 4 products and I used Zen cart. Overkill, I know. But I'm so familiar the Zen cart, I whizzed through the project in a few hours and did a nice custom template.

And the client was all "Ohhhhh, aaauuugh...look at the admin side!"

If you take a look at the example and first post, you'll see why I made the statement.

If there was any indication that a more robust cart than one presented was what was wanted, I certainly would not have made the suggestion.
