I have a sale applied to a category (% off of reg price) , works well - but is there a way to require a customer to purchase a min qty of products from the sale category to obtain discount?

ex: Category "A" is on sale this week, Buy any combo of 3, get 20% off your selections!

Is there another way to do this outside of salemaker?
