    Default Parse error: syntax error, unexpected $end

    Hi there, i have just installed zen cart and when i try to add products in the admin panel i get this error Parse error: syntax error, unexpected $end in /home/sites/webstores2go.co.uk/public_html/admin/categories.php on line 355

    Please help if you can

    You've either got incomplete uploads of your files, or you've made customizations to your files which resulted in PHP errors (such as mismatched { and } brace symbols). Sometimes poorly-written addons can cause that sort of thing too.

    Thanks for that. I dont really know what to do about it so i deleted line 355 and now it is working ok. Will this cause any problems??

    Um ... deleting lines just because they cause an error is like pulling a tooth just because it's been slightly sore, without determining if there was a cavity or not.

    It would be more prudent just to re-upload the original version of the file and see if that helped. If it did, then you just had a bad upload the first time round.
