Any ideas how to keep fellow zenners from stripping site content, modifying it and posting the new article on a blog with links inserted into the article that point to their Zen Cart?

I found 9 blog entries that have an article I wrote that does just that. They all point to Pure bulk DOT com, a site I have absolutely no affiliation with.

The blog entries start with what looks like a legitimate article, then immediately goes into mine.

I know there isn't much I can do about that, but the fact that they left my signature and web address at the bottom, makes it look like I am the one who is trying to scam people into going to the other site.

Any suggestions other than contacting them (with no email address on their site....another red flag!!) ?

    That's a shame - I gave the site a good review, too.

I guess you could contact him/her here in the forums - svakanda

Any original written words are copyrighted, they belong to you, unless you give permission to use them. Contact the site owners and their hosts.
Please do not PM for support issues: a private solution doesn't benefit the community.

Be careful with unsolicited advice via email or PM - Make sure the person you are talking to is a reliable source.

I write articles (as I am sure a lot of folks do to promote their sites) and submit them to article submission sites. I do allow use of the articles, but I do not believe modifying them, posting them to blogs (using a bogus login I might add), and leaving the original authors signature is right. I believe it is could be seen as fraud huh?

I did find an email address and have sent a letter to the owner and webmaster
stating so. Hopefully this gets resolved before I have to get my lawyer involved.

As far as contacting them through the forums, I am not sure how, unless I do a search for the site.

    Thanks for the responses.

    Here's one of his posts:

Click on his name and you can send him a PM. Might point him to this thread - I'd be interested in his response.
