Default My Zen Cart not working properly

    Hello Everyone,

I just installed my first webserver & got it working fine except for my zen cart. I am using wamp2 with the Apache Server on a Sony Vaio with the following specs:

Microsoft XP Home version 2002, service pack 2
    Pentium 4 CPU 2.66GHZ
    736 MB of Ram

On my local network where the webserver is installed I can see & view my cart with no problems. I am going to IE & typing in my web address, not using localhost. When I go to my neighbors house or anyone else's house & go to my zen cart I get the main screen that's all white with no template applied to it & my categories are on the left of the page. it takes forever to load the cart & when I click on one of the categories after waiting for about 5 minutes I get a Page Can't Be Displayed error. I'm not sure why this is happening when it's working on the local network just fine. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. I think my computer should be fast enough to load the cart & think my PHP & MYSQL are working since I can see everything correctly on the local network. the rest of the site seems to work except for my blog, but I know what's wrong with that.

Installing on your local PC is fine for testing, but you really should use a hosting service for a live website.
