Zencart 101?

Newbie..thanks for the help here. Proficient with CSS and Dreamweaver but clueless on Zencart.
i see lots of scattered tutorials/faqs. But, is there a place that is very basic for new guys on Zen?
Like for instance, I have created a test site and I just want to play around with the layout first...change the page title, change some images, change the "sales message goes here" stuff. Mostly just physical attributes.
And just sort of ease myself into the workings of Zencart.
A newbie frustration is something like this:
Admin
tools
define pages editor
define main page.php
And I get this:

get your manual today



This content is located in the file at: /languages/english/html_includes/classic/define_main_page.php

You can quickly edit this content via Admin->Tools->Define Pages Editor, and select define_main_page from the pulldown.

NOTE: Always backup the files in /languages/english/html_includes/your_template

I'd like to get rid of this:

But, I don't even see that in the text on the main.php page to edit out.
Just an example.
again, please don't shoot the new guy, just trying to fine one good starting place.
