    Default Simple Catalog Design?

Hello... I am working on a website for my Girlfriends father and need some help.

I have spend a good amount of time trying to set up carts with Google and Paypal checkout API's using CGI with no luck. Mostly because the site is being hosted on a remote server and I cant seam to install the right modules, but I did find Zencart and have it working.

To the problem... The site only sells two products and is mostly designed to give information about the products, company and distributors. It doesn't revolve around the actual catalog. ultimately I would like to simply integrate a paypal button into an existing page. (I have paypal configured and Zen Cart is working correctly with Paypal, I just dont want to use the templates. I feel there is too much on the page)

I really hope this is possible because It is really difficult trying to learn how to integrate shopping carts into websites.

    Thank you for your help
    Tom

Explain what you are attempting here???

Are you trying to use Zen Cart to include a "Buy Now" button on say a HTML page of yours?

If so - Zen Cart is not designed to be used in this manner - It is designed to become your website completely.

There are many other implementations for a buy now button - just not Zen Cart

I guess that is what I am trying to do... I have just found it difficult to utilize the Google Checkout and Paypal API's with the server that this website is hosted on. I was just hoping that I could do this some how.

You can check Google requirements but I know that IPN(PayPal) requires curl - - If your server does not have curl support you will not be successful
