    Default Controlling frontpage text

    My site is www.floridadriftwood.com

I have two pieces of text on my front page I need to control. I added this text:

"Sorry about the mess. We have moved to a new service provider and are installing a new cart. We should up and running by 8/22." and "Welcome to FloridaDriftwood". The "Welcome..." note is in yellow and is displaced to the left.

I would really like to have the "Welcome to ..." text below the logo and above the "Sorry..." text.

I thought I placed these text in the header.php page but when I removed everything from b/n the single quotes, nothing changes. Where am I going wrong? Thanks in advance!

Check what you've got in includes/languages/english/YOUR_TEMPLATE/index.php around like 31 (look for HEADING_TITLE). It looks like you added that "sorry about the mess" text there.

Remove it from there and add it to includes/languages/english/html_includes/YOUR_TEMPLATE/define_main_page.php. You can use includes/languages/english/html_includes/define_main_page.php to create the file (save it in includes/languages/english/html_includes/YOUR_TEMPLATE/)

    /)
Thanks for your help and attention. Turns out that my template was not there. Only "classic" and "custom". "Custom" was empty and "classic" had only a "header.php" file in it. I recovered a copy of the original file I modified on my desktop computer. Its an "Index.php" file all right. Do you know the path to find it in ZC?

Could this mislocation of the info you described be as a result of my earliest (poor) attempts to install a new template?

    You could try includes/languages/english/index.php

Yes! I found it. That takes care of the "sorry..." part. However, that index page does not seem to have the "Welcome to..." part.

Which page do you think holds the "Welcome to floridadriftwood.com" part in yellow?
