    Default Is CURL required?

    Hello,
I read the paypal express setup instructions but it doesn't mention anything in regards to CURL. However, in the admin payment module of paypal, it says Requirements and right below that it says:

*CURL is used for bidirectional communication with the gateway, so must be active on your hosting server (if you need to use a CURL proxy, set the CURL proxy settings under Admin->Configuration->My Store.)

So do I have to set this up also?

Ask your host if they have curl compiled in php - if so you do not have to setup up anything...

    You do need curl though
