Editing file permission on Local server

I have installed an application to create a server on my local machine so that I can install and test my ZenCart site before I upload it. I used WAMP application for this.

The first step to install ZenCart on my Localhost server is to change the permissions of some files and directories to (777) and (757). I used to do this using FileZilla on my host server. But now I don't know how to do it. I tried to connect to my localhost server on my machine using FileZilla but it didn't connect. and when I try to change the permissions using windows, it doesn't seem to have the same permissions set.

Does anyone know how to work this out?

If you're using Windows, to change the permission of files right-click, choose "Properties" and then uncheck or check "Read Only", Apply and OK.

I think basically the only one you need to worry about running ZC locally is the /includes/configure.php file after you install. If you don't change it to "Read Only" you'll have a nice red warning box at the top of your main page.
