Subdirectories likw BLOG do NOT load?

Couple days ago I installed Wordpress blog using Fantastico. It worked fine, But, today when I try to access the blog it just loads the home page?

It looks like your rewrite is interferring somehow as even trying to force it with /blog/index.php sends one to the root index.php which is ZenCart

Check if the "blog" is actually a subfolder below your zencart (i doubt that)

Also, 1 more thing to note, you should have got to a "page not found" when you visit that link, whichever seo module you are using (assuming ssu), make sure you are at the latest version, this is how it should behave:

http://eazy-templates[dot]com/blog

you will see a page not found

The Blog sub folder is at the ROOT (in public_html folder). The SEO URL was installed for Zen 1.3.8a.

I really dont think the blog folder is there, because if it is then the redirection will not happen.

But, you can also make sure by:
1. make sure your seo module is up to date
2. also, if you are using ssu, added "blog" to the page exclude list.

Although I dont see how the mod_rewrite kicks in when the blog folder is really there

If requesting a page that does not exist one should get a 404 error But this does not even throw a 404 error when a known page that does not exist is requested????

Yup, which is why I told him that whatever module he is using he should upgrade. Im assuming SSU here, but who knows. If it is SSU it is not working the way it should. The content of the htaccess file should be posted here as well.

Yes, it is there , unless I am hullucinating. Kobra can confirm the blog folder is there on my host server..??
