Is it possible to add a link to New products in the category position?

Lots of online fashion shops have a "New in" link as part of their categories. This sorts the lastest added items based on the month.

With zencart (as far as I can tell) the New Products can only appear in the centre box on the front page.

Doe you know how I can make "New Products" work as a link in the categories area? Thanks in advance!

Thank you! I only just realised that New items is shown in the cateogory side box. Doh!
