Easy Populate Advance 3.0.3

Hello,
Has anyone worked with EasyPopulate Advance and have tried the export and import of customize fields for the products? I have been able to get the customize field exported and viewable following the instructions of modifying easypopulate_export.php. However, I'm not able to get the importing of customize fields working.

In the directions it says quote: "When importing your files, if the new column (headed 'v_my_field') is in the file it will import/update automatically"

When I have those columns with data in my file, but it doesn't get imported. The product itself gets imported, but the customize fields does not. I don't know if I have to modify the easypopulate_import.php file. I'm thinking I would have to, but the directions doesn't say so and I'm not sure where to modify if so.

Has anyone tried this before? This is the last step of importing I have to do. Please help if possible Thanks!

I want to buy easy populate advance, but I'm not sure because,

My Slovene language use utf-8 encodings,
Italian ISO-8859-1
Croatian ISO-8859-2
English ISO-8859-1

When I will import the catalog I worry that my product description will not display proprely.

What should I do?
Change all the languages to utf-8 if it is possible?

Are some ways to import true xml file?
