    Default configuring Mercury

    Hi,
In the ZenCart Manual (e-Start Your Web Store with
Zen Cart)I read some things to configure Mercury.
I don't use the XAMPP server with the aleady included mercury mailserver, but I installed the online available mailserver of Pegasus Mail & Mercury
I should make some changes in the the MERCURY.ini file ,but this file doesn't appear in my Pegasus Mail & mercury folder.

    Zen Manual:
    Configuring Mercury
Now we have to make sure that all emails for the domain example.com will be handled by our mail server.
To configure your Mercury mail server to use the new domain:
    1. Stop the Mercury mail server service via your XAMPP Control Panel.
    2. Edit the file <xampp-home>/MercuryMai l /MERCURY. INI with a text editor.
    3. Delete and add the following lines in the file.
myname localhost # Canonical name for this server
myname example.com # Canonical name for this server
    4. Add the following line just below the words “localhost.com : localhost.com” in the file.
    example.com : example.com

The manual's instructions apply specifically to the bundled MercuryMail server that comes with that version of XAMPP.

For your case, you should refer to the website where you downloaded the mail server and follow the instructions there instead.

Is Mercury part of the XAMPP server not the same Mercury you can download and find on the web?

I think it's more appropriate to check this on the XAMPP forums. Do remember to provide them with the details of the Mercury server you downloaded.
