    Default Moving Product Attributes Location

I have established attributes for Color, size, and will add upload files soon. What I would like to do is move the attributes to the top below the product name, and THEN have the description text below the attributes. Depending on the browser these options can be missed or fall out of view.
    Here is the site www.awards4golf.com

Can this be done and where do I do it???

    Thanks for your help

You should be making these types of alterations to a "custom" template versus to the "classic" template as in an upgrade all your efforts will be lost...

The copy of a file you need to re-order is tpl_product_info_display.php

Most items are started with BOF and end with EOF and you can move the full block into the order you want.

Once in the correct order you may need to refine the look with some stylesheet adjustments

I am a little familiar wit the tpl_product_info_display.php page because I moved the "Add to Cart" location but what css info would I look for if I need to refine the look of the attributes once they are repositioned? That has me totally confused.

Also you mentioned that I should be in a custom file, now that I have done so much work can it all be moved?

    Thanks for your help

Yes, if you have done your editing in /classic/, you can copy all /classic/ folders & files to a new set of folders like /your_template/ or whatever you want to call it. Change the info in /your_template/template_info.php and activate it in admin > Tools > Template Selection.

The edits you made in /classic/ will be replaced by the stock version when you upgrade, and no harm will be done.

If you do not have Firefox browser - get it.
Get the webtools extention and firebug extention for it and you can then determine the tag for each div and either find it or add it to the css file
Also you mentioned that I should be in a custom file, now that I have done so much work can it all be moved?
If you have adhered to the override system for all of your present edits meaning - - a core file requiring editing was copied and placed into the classic folders that exist - then yes you can copy/ftp the classic folders to your local - rename them locally to ?custom? or another name you want and ftp them back to where they belong.

THere are several classic folders in several areas and these need to stay in the current structure along with those you add for your new template.
