Ty Package Tracker v3 Beta Tester Needed

I am getting ready to update the tracker module and would like some beta tester to test it out when it is complete. The module will be an add-on module, so no Zen Cart core files will be alter or overwritten.
If you are interested in being a tester or help in developing the module, please PM me or submit a post here.

Some of the features in the update version are:
Batch add tracking id.
Ability to edit tracking id.
Customize email message.
No limit on maximum carriers.
Edit order details.
Easy linkage to other modules.
* Plus some implementation will be added from user's suggestions.

This thread will be also be use as a developers thread. So if you have any suggestions that you would like added, please your comments here. The module is still in the early stages of development. I will post the progress here and contact the beta testers when it is ready.

In the third beta version hopefully he will make the following code in the tpl_account_default.php

This way it does not have two different order status pages and more related use to the tracker module for friendly customer use.

It would show the tracker and the status including comments right from the customers account page without the sidebox if they decided to turn off the sidebox.

I have installet ( tryed to ) the Ty Tracker version 2-3a - clean installation. The encloset sql file ( Fresh_install.sql ) Gives a database error on line 8 - not a leagle value for INTEGER and in the line 14 and in line 33 ALTER TABLE.

I run the ZenChart modul 1.3.8a and my sql is: MySql 5.0.45-community-nt via TCP/IP and a Client version: MySQL client version 5.1.11

All programs are running on my privat server - Apach, PhP and so on. All things is in normal operation, expet for the Ty Tracker.

Is it possible to get any help?

Ty has been silent on the forum since around Xmas. I presume he is very busy.

I beta tested both the Ty Tracker and the UPS Worldship add-ons. I thought Ty would have uploaded the files by now. Don't know why not... they seemed pretty well ready for prime time to me.

Ty may be trying to merge the two into one add-on... but that's just a guess!
To answer your question: The UPS Worldship add-on was developed separte from Ty Tracker (unless Ty is in the process of merging the two.)
I ran into some problems using both add-ons together, but that may have been more to do with the various patches to the new Ty Tracker we tried. I got my websites working fine with both add-ons using some of my own tweaks which I never documented.

It could be that Ty wants to make both add-ons compatible before releasing the install files.

Ty where are you?????
