Store Pickup module doing strange things

I am have an issue with the store pickup module. I have it enabled, but when when it is selected the first time, then you hit continue, then it jumps back to the screen with the option no longer available and says.

"This is currently the only shipping method available to use on this order."

anyone know what is going on with this? help would be greatly appreciated.

one more thing to note, when I go back to step 1 in the checkout process, the option (store pickup) is no longer there?

I'm not sure why this is all the sudden doing, this I haven't had any issues with it until now. and it's been working for 4 months.

the only changes I have made were having Auctionblox installed. there is an Auctionblox shipping module that was added but I'm not using it, and it's not installed.

I only have the USPS, storepickup & freeshipper modules installed.

What shipping modules are you using?

Check them in the Modules ... Shipping ... if you have even 1 Sort Orders, make sure all are using Sort Orders and none are duplicated ...

Check if you have Zones set on the Shipping methods ...

What version of Zen Cart?

Clean install or an Upgrade?

here is what I have.

USPS, storepickup and freeshipper modules installed. they have sort order 1,2,3. All zones are set to none.

Zen Cart version is 1.3.8a and it was a clean install, never been upgraded.

I can reproduce the problem on your site ... but I cannot tell what it is that you might have done to cause this to happen ...

I cannot get this to happen on any test sites ...

You may wish to get something like Beyond Compare from scootersoftware.com and compare a clean download of v1.3.8 to what you have on your server to see if you have any corrupt files on your site or changes causing this ...

it seems that what ever the default module is, is the one that it says is the only one available.

this is the one that is already checked when the page pulls up.

Do you have Sort Orders on your shipping modules?

What shipping module(s) do you have installed?

I've tried them with sort orders, and all set to 0 with the same results

the modules I have installed are.

storepickup
USPS
freeshipper

I have also removed all other shipping modules from the folder, they aren't installed and aren't being used but I still got same issue with them removed.
