Header Problem in Mozilla and Safari

Please take a look at the white bar in my header either in Mozilla or Safari and let me know how I can get rid of it. The header is beautiful in IE.

You have not used some of the stock elements of the header and they are taking up space. Remove the code for the things you are not using in your custom tpl_header file.
