help question Hiding the Product Weight in Attribute Dropdown List

I'm trying to find a way hide the weight in parentheses in the dropdown list where the customer selects what product size they'd like to purchase. So far, all the options I've found in admin prevent it from displaying in the description of the item. Problem is, I still need to have Zen-Cart compute the cost of shipping based on weight because I'm using actual shipping costs. I'm thinking the most logical place to look for this would be the attributes controller, but I'm using the improved attributes controller add-on. So far I haven't found the option yet. Any ideas?

    Thanks guys (and gals),
    Brad

If you look in the Catalog ... Product Types ... and click the EDIT LAYOUT button for the Product Type you want to change, there are settings for what is and isn't displayed ...

Thanks for the update that you were able to utilize the Admin configuration to turn on or off the Attribute Weight on the products ...

This thread was very helpful but I wonder how do I hide the shipping weight on the shopping cart and shipping estimater page?

I do believe I have turned it off every where I can find but am probably just missing it. I have searched and so far this thread was very helpful in turing it off on the product page but I still need a bit of help to turn it off else where.

    Thanks

DOH it was right in front of me, Im just blind.

    Solution

Config >> Layout Settings >> Shopping Cart - Show Totals >> Set to 3

I gotta say aournd 3am last night I was ready to nuke Zen and myself, first 4-5 hrs of trying to get things set up were hell. The last 4-5 have been wonderful.
