Hi
My site's been up for about a year without problem (vsn 1.3.7), but I went away recently and left a colleague in charge and "it broke" in that neither Admin nor Customers could access the site.
The site is now back up and running after reistalling from backup but the HTML on the EZPages now seems to be being overriden by something (I've tried rewriting them but it hasn't helped). I've even gone into the database and copied and pasted the data from the EZPages into a blank Dreamweaver page and the HTML looks fine. This Page for instance should all be in <font face="verdana,arial,helvetica,sans-serif" size="2"> with all headers strong><font color="#009933"> and a load of \ have appeared on the page in front of '.
Similar seems to have happened to the Categories section. Again, I've tried clearing them and rewriting and everything looks fine when I close the HTML Editor, but the page does not display as expected and when I re-open the HTML Editor the formatting has changed!
Also, some, of the images on these pages have disappeared. A peek at the server error log shows for example:
[Mon Sep 1 21:00:04 2008] [error] [client 79.65.146.163] File does not exist: /domains/g/r/greenlamps.co.uk/public_html/"http://www.greenlamps.co.uk/images/wheeliebinsmall.jpg/"
and I've tried deleting and re-adding the image as /image/wheeliebinsmall.jpg but when I go back into the text editor the properties have become "http://www.greenlamps.co.uk/%22http://www.greenlamps.co.uk/images/wheeliebinsmall.jpg/%22".
I don't think any of the products have been affected.
Edited to add, and pages are displaying differently in IE (larger front) vs Firefox (medium) and Safari (small).
I am completely baffled by this and would be grateful for any advice.
