Hi there Zen'ers.
I have had the website, tbsm.com.au, up and running for a few months now and just the other week i get an email from the webhost saying;
"The server cluster that has been hosting tbsm.com.au is engineered to perform at operational extremes, but some element of your website's CPU usage has been exceeding even these thresholds........"
Now they have moved me to a quarantine server and want to remove the site if the problem is not resolved.
The date at which they claim that the site has started to exceed these thresholds there was no activity from the admin behalf or in changing any of the site which could have contributed to the performance extremes.
Now i was recommended to get onto xDebug and use its results through WinCacheGrind and i have been able to bring up the results of the debug but cannot find what is causing the performance issue (note this is my first time attempting anything this in-depth into php coding).
There are two php functions which seem to be taking up the largest cumulative time (includes/application_top.php and includes/templates/...../tpl_main_page.php) which both share 95% of the cumulative time between them.
What i really need help is if anyone has experienced any problems similar to this or if anyone can point me in the direction of what to be looking for which can cause the "performance extremes" and how to resolve them or if all else fails point me in the direction of a developer who would be willing to resolve the problem.
Thank you.
Liam @ TBSM
