Logo with link... Two pages to change?

I want to change my logo.
But I can't remember which directory had the place to add the new logo with the link...

Just name your new image the same as it currently is and replace it - no need to edit code

I tried that, and all it did was delete my banner....

For some reason when I upload one of the pictures, it comes up as a text file instead of an image file...
