Um...just as a tiny wee point LOL you might want to change the bit at the bottom that says Powered by Computing As You Like It cos if you are using Zen Cart....which you are LOL then it is powered by Zen Cart, and in any case that link only takes me to a page with this error: Fatal error: Call to undefined function force_ssl_admin() in /home/computin/public_html/wp-settings.php on line 390

Thanks for pointing out my website error.
Seems my server admin made some configuration changes yesterday and did not tell me.

RE the footer, I thought there were no "requirements regarding the text". If this is not true (copyright issues etc) I will have to discuss the website requirements with my client.

Regarding the error I was having on the site (the welcome message) it is very strange. I made a backup of the index.php file before making changes to it. I did not name the file correctly (the editor did it for me) and it had a space in the name , making it index (copy).php

As soon as I renamed this file to index.php_bk, my changes to index.php became visible on the site.

    Very strange.

I am still having trouble finding the css tag to change but I think I can find that part.

    Thanks for the help!

I don't think there are any requirements, you can take it off as you wish and add in other things like 'designed by' or 'sponsored by' etc, but as far as I am aware, the cart is 'powered by' zen cart and no other (definitely not Wordpress LOL), that was all I was meaning, but my own personal opinion is that the devs have put a lot of time and work into an awesome cart, at least it is awesome to me LOL and I think leaving the Powered by Zen Cart in the footer is a very small price to pay....but that is just my opinion, you don't have to agree LOL

I think the general rule here is that you can remove the Powered by Zencart, but if it says Powered by, it has to be Zencart.

Makes sense, since it is, indeed, Zencart that's powering your site, and it seems to me to be a small enough way to say thanks for a great piece of software.

There are a few of us who won't review a site without that in the footer, too.
