    Default Referencing image folders

I am very sorry to be re-posting this, I posted it in the sticky topic at the top, but am really anxious for a resolution on this. I have read and re-read the tutorial on this, and as far as I can see I have done ever thing right, but, my it would see zc is just not referencing my folders, and I have no idea why, all the permissions are set to 777.

    Anyway, please read below. Thanks...

    Hi there...

I hope you can help me, as this problem is driving me mad.

I followed this tutorial to the letter: https://www.zen-cart.com/tutorials/i...hp?article=224

All of my image settings are set to width 150px and height to 0 with 'calculate image size' switched on.

    I have three images;
    image_small.jpg is saved to shop/images/
    image_MED.jpg is saved to shop/images/medium
    image_LRG.jpg is saved to shop/images/large

My 'product info page' setting is set to width 200px height 0px.

I have also changed the width and height in includes/modules/YOUR_TEMPLATE/pages/product_info/

So, as far as I can tell I have done all I am supposed to do.
However, when I upoad my image in catalog, no matter what image I use, whether the thumbnail that is 150px wide, or the medium image, and no matter where I put them, whether in Main Gallery, or Images, or Medium etc, it's always the same. If I use the small image, the thumbnail is fine, the the image on the product info page is blurry because the small image has been enlarged. If I use the medium image then the thumbnail has been compressed and looks horrible, and the 'Large' image just references whatever image I have uploaded via Admin.
The files are not being refereced at all.
I have created templage overides as recommended, though not for images as it appears this is not necessary.

Here is a linky for ya: http://art4sale.illusiocreative.co.u...08bpm5e1aksma5

I hope all this makes sense. Any help would be really appreciated. Thank you...

Could you provide a link that works and the actual image names and locations for that link?

    Hi there...

Sorry bout that link. Anyway, here is a link that works.
    http://art4sale.illusiocreative.co.u...roducts_id=181
The link for product info is referencing the small file here: http://art4sale.illusiocreative.co.u...idal_small.jpg
And when I uploaded the product in Admin I uploaded it to Main Directory. As you can see if you look at the properties, it's referencing images.

As for links to images. Do you mean links to the image files, if so then:
    http://art4sale.illusiocreative.co.u.../tidal_MED.jpg
    http://art4sale.illusiocreative.co.u.../tidal_LRG.jpg

    I hope that helps...
Any insight you can give me would be a bonus, thanks.

    It's http://art4sale.illusiocreative.co.uk/shop/

She only has two images loaded, and it seems to be working as she describes. I wish I knew more about the images part of Zencart, but she seems to have done everything right (by her description) and all the images (small, med, large) are showing the small image.

Rename your product image from tidal_small.jpg to tidal.jpg - both the physical file and the filename on the products page.

Zen Cart handles different sized images by looking for extensions of the base image name (ignoring the file extension), so in the example that you have given it's expecting files called tidal_small_MED.jpg and tidal_small_LRG.jpg.

    kuroi

Thank you very much for your help, as I started reading I had a *head smack* moment. Such an obvious mistake really. But, it's a case of 'not seeing the wood for the trees'. So much to do, and I am trying to keep it simple, but keeping it simple is actually quite complex. Anyway, got it sorted now, and think a light is at the end of the tunnel and am closer to getting this sucker good to go. When I have done, I will post it in 'Reviews' for and ask for a thorough pick through.

    Thanks again for your help.
