Ok Kim,
i deleted all the files servers side and then uploaded straight to the public_html folder no sub-folder.
when i browsed to it there it was the hello page and so i start installing and changing permissioins. upon checking my settings the only thing zen came up with was something about the output buffer was turned off. but the box it was in said that this information was not a reporting of any real problem but it was just a convenient place to list that and the other info that was with it.
i created the database last night and using my db name and pw and host it keeps coming up with db does not exsist. i even deleted teh db and rebuilt it and it still says the same thing.... my host name? localhost usually right.... would that be localhost_totallyawesomesigns.com? nor jsut localhost alone?
also it was "php api mode= cgi-fcgi" had a yellow flag on it. but more info just said it COULD BE PROBLEMATIC on apache or unix systems, but never on windows
basically saying that running php as a cgi mode could casue problems on my server. am I able to request a change for that.
i mean this host was recommended by zencart.?
