Changing product date added

Could products_date_added also be modified using EZ Populate? (Assuming that column is in the data you upload.) Or does EZ Populate just use the current timestamp for when you are uploading to modify that date?

I don't use EZP but I would think that there should be away to update all the fields that you need ...
