Just curious, would it be hard to do the same thing with the admin>tools>who's online?

That would be cool to have on the desktop refreshing so to see people come and go and what they are looking at and if they are purchasing.

It can pull up anything that's in the database, so there's potentially a lot of useful information the mod can output. I think an optional setting to extend the Visitors data would be a good feature. Once it's confirmed everything's working, I'll start to think about these things.

I’m working on v2.1 at the moment. So far, it has the following features:

More accurate visitor recording:
1. Mod is excluded from visitor count
2. Visitors/Robots listed separately

Adds language file for multi-lingual support

I have just finished adding a new feature for v2.1.

The mod detects which pages the visitors are on and splits them into several groups:
- Browsing (red light)
- Shopping Cart (pink light)
- Login/Account (yellow light)
- Checkout (green light)

Each group has its own colour associated with it.

For up to 5 visitors, the mod shows which groups the visitors are in by displaying a small circle next to the visitor count. What if there are 10 visitors browsing, 4 on the shopping cart, 1 registering, and 2 at checkout? The most important ones are listed first. The order would be 2 green, 1 yellow, and 2 pink.

What I had mentioned before, about the who's online, I like your idea, but think it would be more helpful if it looked similar to the who's online page.

Showing the color like you have, and also show the actual page the person is looking at. In the who's online, it provides a link. I think the color as well as the item title the user is looking at.

Maybe stack the colors and have item title to the right.

I wish I have better knowledge of coding, then I could work on it myself, but I am at a loss with most of it. LOL

Interesting suggestions. I see a few problems though.

Without an seo url mod, a lot of the urls would mean nothing.
Also, urls can be any length so dealing with the aesthetics will be hard.

In order to display a link, it requires interaction with the mod's interface. Vista users can't do this, and I'd like to keep the same mod for everybody.
