Great add-on! Now I don't have to login all the time to check my store status. Is perfect. Today I already had a surprize: a new costumer! It worked really nice, just install it following the step by step instructions and it runs!!!

I am not using it on the desktop though, I am using it on my mobile phone, even no need to switch on the PC now

I've made some changes (for my own usage) to version 2.1

- Added language_id (to orders status query). Prevents duplicate order statuses when mupltiple languages are used.
- Added whois timer inactive setting: DESKTOP_DATA_WHOIS_TIMER_INACTIVE
- Added active statuses filter. If configured, only the active orders statuses will be shown
(by default all are shown, edit DESKTOP_DATA_ACTIVE_ORDERS_STATUSES value to use the filter)
- Statuses with > 0 orders are highlighted now (strong)
- Added title attribute. This is needed to show the icon image titles in FF (in IE the alt tag is used if no title is found)

I have no plans to update this addon or something, but just in case anyone is interested I have attached my version of desktop_data.php (based on 2.1) to this post. Maybe you can add (some of it) to your version Steven300?

You weren't to know but v2.2 is the current version (it was unofficially released on the previous page and has just been approved in the downloads section). v2.2 has an inactive timer setting but all of your other features are new.

I may need to PM you at some point to check I have integrated all of your features correctly. Hope that's okay.

This is a beta release of v2.3. It's essentially a mixture of v2.2, Paulm's suggestions, and a few other edits. This release is mostly about manipulation of the order statuses display. Main features:

- Highlights order data requiring attention
- Ability to set language ID if using multiple languages
- Ability to skip display of specific order statuses

I downloaded the most recent version I could find, however the links that Steven300 has posted in this thread and the ones in his sig line don't seem to be valid.

I suspect this is me being dim but I cannot get the workaround to work with Avi's/Vista and the links Steven has posted take me to a site with no mention of Desktop Data, just a nice looking girl and some unrelated menus. Can someone please tell me what I'm doing wrong (Using Firefox)

Hi, the link you quoted was just a temporary link to the latest version of the mod. That link doesn't work anymore but you can find the latest version of the mod in the 'Free Software Add Ons' section of this site, in the 'Other Modules' category. I'm assuming though you already have the mod as you mentioned not being able to get the workaround to work with it. If that's right, could you say a bit more about how it is not working as you expect.
