Default Another existing site question (will Zen work?)

I've read a few other post on this topic but am still uncertain if the answers work for my existing site. If not maybe someone has a suggestion.
    Here's the site. http://www.westlightimages.com

As you can see I have many different photographs I offer, in 7 different sizes and to make things very complicated there are about 70 different frame options, or they can purchase just the image. The frames are broken down into 4 different price ranges.

So, ideally I would like to be able to add a "Buy" button under each photograph, using my existing site, and then have a page come up with the selected image along with size/frame options and then have them check out. Seems most of the suggestions I've come upon have said to have the "Buy" button direct the person to the "store" which would be set up outside the Main website.

Is Zen Cart the "product" I need or is there a better way, other than dropping 15K to hire a programmer?

Last thing...I'm very new at all of this. Much better with the camera than the keyboard I'm afraid.

    Thanks!

If you have read very kmuch about this you have discovered that this is not how Zen Cart is designed to be used.

It is designed to be or become your web portal. And looking at what you have this is not an insurmountable task for 90+% of whhat I saw.

What gallery script is being used for your current site?

There are other scripts that can be used for a "Buy Now" feature just not Zen Cart.

    Thanks Kobra

I think I might have over simplified things by saying I just wanted to add a "Buy" button. I'm still trying to figure out all the options with e-commerce, and trying to find the best solution.

So, the "Gallery Script" is one that was purchased from Project Seven called Image Gallery Magic. Here's a link. http://www.projectseven.com/products...agic/index.htm

When I spoke to their tech support people I was told that many people have added a "shopping cart" feature so I know it's possible but just how to incorporate Zen Cart is what I'm trying to figure out.

Again, I would like to offer the different size images and I've seen Zen Cart sites that have done this but I would also like to include the framing options as well.

For now, I'm back to searching through the "Live Shops Showcase" to see what others have done.

A matter of semantics but realign your thinking from adding a shopping cart feature to using Zen Cart and adding a gallery to it.

Zen Cart will be your main application with additions of other things to it

    Thanks again.

Guess I was putting the zen-cart before the horse, pun intended.
