    Default Anyone know how to close this gap...?

    Does anyone know how to close the gap above my featured products header. I know its created by the main page. I am told its caused by <p>'s..............but where do i find them and what exactly do i edit without damaging my site.

    Any help greatly appreciated.

    Here's the link. http://www.actionfigures4u.com

    Also i would appreciate anyone who can tell me how to split this nave bar up into 3 images so i can make it like the rest of my nav bars. Much appreciated.

    Here's the link. http://www.actionfigures4u.com/index...dex&cPath=1_17

    Its the 'product image', 'item name' and 'price' header.

    Many thanks.
    Andy.

    eeek! Yellow text on white background?

    At the top of the page that is causing the gap is a Div id="indexDefaultMainContent"

    you could edit the style sheet and change the definition to display:none - but you must check that this will not affect other pages...

    But I would suggest filling the gap with a welcome message...

    There are few issues when viewed with firefox.

    Viewing your page with Firefox 3 doesn't show the darkbackgrounds for the titles. There are some issues with IE7 too....

    You should probably have a look using Firefox...

    I do like how your page is looking - the large product images are very good - although it is the same image when I click to view large on the product page...

    Thanks.

    I have no idea which IE i am using, i think it might be 8. I have not done the larger images as yet, or anything on the shopping cart, just concentrating on the layout.

    If i download other IE and Firefox it won't automaticlly become my default will it.

    I believe you should be prompted when for default browser when firefox is started - just select no - I recomend this browser with the web developer extension - (lots of good extensions make this browser awesome)...

    I dont think you can have more than 1 version of IE installed.. (without having a modified version) Unfortunately the sites should be tested in all browsers to make sure they display properly. Especially IE7 and firefox... ok and Opera too

    To get rid of the gap:

    In your stylesheet:

    P, ADDRESS {
    padding: 2.5em;
    display:none;
    }

    Add the part in red.

    Your site loads pretty slowly, and your left and center box headers don't load at all in FF2, so the text displays as yellow on white. Also, your right sideboxes overrun the right side of the mainWrapper. Check the width of your mainWrapper and the right and left column widths.

    For the headers, remove the commas in the name of the elements:

    .leftBoxHeading, {
    margin: 0em;
    background-color: #abbbd3;
    background-image: url(../images/sideboxheader.gif);
    background-repeat: no-repeat;
    padding: 0.7em 0.2em;
    }

    .centerBoxHeading, {
    margin: 0em;
    background-color: #ffffff;
    background-image: url(../images/centerheader.gif);
    background-repeat: no-repeat;
    padding: 1.1em 0.4em
    }

    Just Google Firefox. You'll get version 3.

    There are differences between FF2 and FF3, so if you have a second computer install both.

    Be sure to add the Web Developer plugin.

    There's also a good FTP client plugin called FireFTP that I use for all my FTP'ing.
