I want my main page to be just 5 differently sized images (apart from the std header) These 5 images need to be linked to a product or category that will change monthly.

1) How will i upload and save these unusually szed images
2) How will i set where they will link to?

Your link is not to a Zen Cart????

You can lay this out in your defines main_page.php file and can do this from the admin > tools > defines page editor > select the main from the drop box

The link is a mock-up I made for my zen cart in the root directory of the cart.
